Pour le premier concert en tant qu’ensemble en résidence pour les Productions Berrisque, l’Ensemble Paramirabo vous présente des oeuvres de Claude Vivier, Matthew Ricketts, Moon Young Ha  et Yannick Plamondon.  Le duo Guitartare débutera le concert avec des oeuvres de compositeurs Montréalais.

For the first program as ensemble-in-residence with Productions Berrisque, l’Ensemble Paramirabo presents works by Claude Vivier, Matthew Ricketts, Moon Young Ha and Yannick Plamondon.  The concert will open with a performance by Guitartare of works by Montreal composers.

Concert 2 – « Among tarnished stars »

L’Ensemble Paramirabo présente un concert thématique mettant en vedette la soprano Sarah Albu. Nous vous présenterons un extraits de l’opéra de chambre du compositeur Sebastian Hutchings “I Am the Bait and the Trap”  donc nous avons fait la première en août 2011. En plus d’oeuvres de Linda Catlin Smith and Kate Soper, nous clôtuerons la soirée avec le Pierrot Lunaire d’Arnold Schoenberg.

 L’Ensemble Paramirabo performs works for soprano and ensemble including “I Am the Bait and the Trap” by Sebastian Hutchings, an excerpt from a chamber opera that the ensemble premiered this summer, Pierrot Lunaire by Arnold Schoenberg and works by Linda Catlin Smith and Kate Soper.
