Alithéa Ripoll
Biography
Alithéa Ripoll was born on 24 October 1990 in Liège (Belgium). At 17, she was accepted into Michel Fourgon's composition class at the Royal Conservatory of Liège (CrLg). She obtained a Master's degree in didactics in 2014 with great distinction and teaches as an assistant. In 2017, she joined the Centre d'Art Vocal & de Musique Ancienne de Namur (CAV&MA) as an educational manager.
She has been performed at several festivals: Images Sonores (Liege), Klanken Festival (Maastricht), Ars Musica 2014 and 2017 (Brussels), Loop (Brussels), 2 Visages de la Musique Électroacoustique (Brussels), Smetana Festival (Plzen, Czech Republic), Mons 2015, la Semaine de la Francophonie 2016 (Radio France - Paris), Musica Polonica Nova (Wroclaw, Poland), Festival Émulation 2017 (Liège), la BIP[off] 2018 (Liège), Belgian Music Days (Leuven) 2018, Festival Internacional de Musica Contemporánea UC (Santiago, Chili) 2018, ...
In 2015, she received a commission from Radio France to compose and write for the orchestra of young French high school students from around the world and for a choir from a French high school as part of the Semaine de la Francophonie.
