Description

The season opens with a powerful sensory jolt, co-broadcast with Le Vivier and under the musical direction of Guillaume Bourgogne. Between distortion, psychedelia, and raw electricity, this true cult work by Fausto Romitelli fuses spectralism with the chaos of rock, creating a sound world where melodies dissolve into noise, where time contracts, and where sound implodes rather than evolves. Inspired by mescaline visions and digital saturation, this sonic trilogy is a wild ride through the beauty of glitch and glorious disintegration, a bad trip you’ll never want to wake up from. Opening the program, Limit, a creation by composer James O’Callaghan, offers another form of perceptual distortion: a subtle play on thresholds, boundaries, and fragments of memory.
