Presented as part of Paramirabo’s concert series in residence at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, Quiet Songs brings together works of great refinement, exploring the delicate realms of timbre and voice. On the program: JUNO Award–nominated works, a new creation by Canadian composer Gordon Williamson, and a piece awarded the Prix Jules-Léger, which the composer himself will perform alongside soprano Sarah Albu. A concert of subtle nuances, where sonic intimacy becomes a terrain for poetic and expressive exploration.
