Description

Love letters | Love Letters is an enormous project combining the fragile and sensitive world of Quebec composer Patrick Giguère with that of the late Julius Eastman, a gay African-American composer and performer.
The main work is an oratorio-style work by Patrick Giguère for two male voices and ensemble pierrot based on love letters between men and taken from writings by Michel-Ange, Rumi, Simon Boulerice, Alain Labonté, Federico Garcia Lorca, Paul Verlaine and Walt Whitman. This concert, performed by the ensemble Paramirabo, features singers Vincent Ranallo and Jean-François Daignault.
